Успех победы в уровнях и сражении с другими игроками в популярной игре AFK ARENA во многом зависит от грамотного подбора героев в команду. Для успешного прохождения даже самых сложных уровней и ивентов мы предлагаем 10 связок, каждая из которых создана под свою задачу. Это команды обороны и атаки, для сражений с гильдейскими боссами и для участия в PVP.

Состав команд определялся по результатам тестирования множеством игроков, согласно результативности их побед. Однако, стоит понимать, что игра динамична и постоянно вносятся корректировки в поведение противников, поэтому результативность может быть различной.

Команда Торнадо (ур.161 для PVP и PVE)

В состав вошли Брутус, Тази и Лика, Немора и Айрон. Связка похожа на известный билд с Шемирой. Однако, здесь она меняется на Айрона, способного в начале боя притянуть трех противников. Далее Брутусу достаточно атаковать их с помощью вихря, и вражеская команда теряет свои преимущества.

Также здесь присутствует хорошее лечение и контроль противников, а бонус от 4-ех героев одной фракции значительно влияет на результативность.

Минусами является малая живучесть и невысокий урон без использования ульты. Фракция Дикарей крайне зависима от уклонения и, даже несмотря на хорошие показатели, может просто не повезти.

Уничтожители Врицца (охота на босса гильдии)

В состав входят Шемира, Люций, Тейн, Фокс и Изабелла.

Порой в AFK ARENA встречаются очень сложные противники. Один из них — босс гильдии Врицц, уничтожение которого становится серьезной задачкой даже для умелых игроков. Данная команда включает в себя 4-х персонажей с максимальными параметрами именно против этого врага.

Единственное слабое место – Люций, однако с его помощью обеспечивается долгое выживание группы.

Стоит отметить, что данная комбинация подходит исключительно для сражений с данным боссом.

Светлая фракция (прохождение 5-6 главы компании)

На старте игры пользователю выпадает довольно много героев этой фракции. Однако, составить из них качественную комбинацию бывает довольно трудно.

В состав входят Люций, Эстрильда, Райна и Аталия, Белинда.

• В данной связке собраны герои с хорошим уроном и потенциалом исцеления. Райна довольно быстро набирает ульту и, за счет нее, наносит огромный урон.
• Аталия способна наносить урон тыловым персонажам противника, выбивая поддержку и целителей, снимая нагрузку с Люция.

Преимуществами являются: максимальный фракционный бонус и хорошие показатели урона для старта игры. Однако, команда имеет и слабое место – героя Аталию. Ее не всегда легко получить, а также у персонажа мало очков здоровья.

Команда для авто-боя (PVP и PVE)

Сюда входят Эстрильда и Люций, Арден, Немора и Тази.

Основным преимуществом этой связки является максимальный контроль над несколькими противниками. Обеспечивается это Арденом и Тази (массовый контроль), а также Неморой (помимо сильного исцеления, способна контролировать конкретного вражеского персонажа).

Благодаря Люцию, обеспечивается мощная поддержка тиммейтов и недопущение противников к героям второй линии.

Связка получает фракционные бонусы (3+2). Ее сильные стороны — контроль и выживаемость. Однако, урон отдельно взятых юнитов слаб и повышается за счет взятия противника под управление.

Начало игры (до 9 главы)

Здесь понадобятся Белинда и Люций, Шемира, Фокс и Хоган.

Фишка связки в способности Фокса вывести из строя одного врага на длительный период. Также Белиндой и Шемирой обеспечивается урон AoE, а Люций дает повышенную выживаемость всего состава. Контроля у связки маловато, но присутствует бонус фракции за 4 героя.

Прохождение истории (PVE)

В команде состоят Савес, Люций, а также Брутус, Немора и Скрег.

Последний принимает основной урон в начале боя и умирает. Зачем, казалось бы, такое надо? Но Скрег оттягивает урон от остальных тиммейтов, а его способность «Расплата» наносит большой ущерб противникам.

Тем временем, остальные союзные персонажи спокойно наносят урон. При этом два героя-целителя позволяют продержаться достаточно долго, чтобы другие разобралась со своими врагами.

Команда обороны для PVP

В составе Ульмус и Люций, а также Тази, Фокс и Немора.

Ключевой фишкой является задача продержаться на поле боя 1,5 минуты (ведь, как известно, если противник не уничтожен до конца таймера, согласно правилам игры, проигрывают нападающие).

Благодаря присутствию 4-ех героев с навыками контроля и 2 целителей, шансов продержаться в течение этого времени очень много.

Также стоит отметить возможность Фокса снимать дебафы, что будет идеально для обороны. Соответственно, урон у связки крайне слабый, и применение ее в нападении не имеет смысла.

Прохождение истории (до главы 18)

Сюда попадают Шемира с Люцием, Немора, Лика и Тази.

У Люциуса быстрое восстановление энергии при атаках врагов, а главное – щит от урона, действующий на всех тиммейтов, а не только заднюю линию. Это позволяет Шемире продержаться в течение всего боя и нанести непоправимый ущерб врагу. У комбинации героев хороший контроль и бонус от 3-х персонажей одной фракции.

Мидгейм (прохождение кампании 61-160 уровней)

Входят Тэйн и Эзиж, а также Мираэль, Райна и Немора.

Главным преимуществом является мощный щит огня от Мираэль, который надежно прикрывает Эзижа, выигрывая время для его способности притяжения. В итоге, все противники стягиваются в центр, где Мираэль разносит их мощной атакой.

Эта связка одна из самых сильных по урону, благодаря участию Райны и Тэйна.

Звездная команда (прохождение выше уровня 161 и PVP в атаке)

В составе Шемира и Брутус, а также Немора, Лика и Тази. Мощная и сбалансированная сборка персонажей по всем правилам ведения боя.

Ее единственным слабым местом является нехватка танка, поэтому, если враг имеет сильный одномоментный урон, то комбо не потянет. Во всех остальных случаях связка хорошо держится, благодаря выживаемости Шемиры и ее мощной ульте.

Также команда подойдет для битвы с Аталией, доставляющей обычно массу проблем уничтожением сразу 2-3 героев команды.

Черепаха (оборонная команда для 161+ уровней)

В составе Люций и Брутус, а также Немора, Лика и Тази.

Рассчитана преимущественно на оборону и максимальную живучесть. Замедляя противника, остальные герои помогают Брутусу сделать его дело. Также можно заменить последнего на Шемиру, если получится обеспечить ее выживаемость.

Команда Могилорожденных (161+ уровни компании)

В составе Шемира и Брутус, а также Грежул, Немора и Фераэль. Здесь есть сразу 3 героя фракции Могилорожденных.

Благодаря Грежулу, внимание врагов надежно отвлекается от остальных героев, пока Брутус с Шемирой наносят урон, а Фераэль вытягивает энергию из противника, не давая применять ульту.

Также стоит отметить неплохой перехват урона Неморой. Достаточно мощная линия танков и фракционный бонус позволяют легко расправляться с мощными соперниками.

Выводы

Данные сборки являются наиболее актуальными на данный момент. Со временем могут возникать новые ситуации в игре, меняться баланс персонажей, что изменит эффективность данных команд. Однако, без серьезных изменений, уровень их полезности будет меняться не слишком сильно, и их сила будет сохраняться еще долгое время.

AFK Arena is a mobile video game developed by Lilith Games for iOS and Android. The game has more than 75 characters for players to choose from called heroes, and some of them are from different franchises. Because the number of heroes is high, a lot of players often get confused while choosing heroes for their match.

If you’re one of them, then you don’t need to worry about it anymore. This is because we are going to write down a detailed AFK Arena tier list in which we are going to rank all the available heroes from best to worst. This will help you decide whether you should be choosing a hero for your match or not. 

We are going to place all the heroes into five different tiers. The strongest heroes will earn a spot in the S-Tier category, while the rest of them will be placed in the remaining tiers. So without any further due, let’s get started.

S-Tier Heroes

These are the most powerful heroes to use in AFK Arena. They offer the best abilities in the entire game and no other hero can come close to them. 

Ainz Ooal Gown

Aniz Oal Gowan is the first hero we would like to mention on our AFK Arena tier list. His appearance is enough to put fear into the hearts of his enemy. As for his ultimate skill, it’s called Fallen Down and it allows Aniz to target multiple enemies at once.

Khazard

Khazard is yet another hero who is extremely powerful. His ultimate ability is called Frozen Mist. It allows him to create an explosion and anyone caught inside it receives 130% damage. After the explosion, a mist surrounds the battlefield for 14 seconds and keeps on dealing 40% damage to all enemies.

Merlin

Merlin looks like Gandalf the Grey from the critically acclaimed Lord of the Rings series. He is a Support hero who can use an ultimate ability called Destiny Forseen. The best part about this ability it allows him to assist his teammates by reducing the amount of damage he and his teammates receive by 25%.

Zaphrael

Zaphrael’s has some of the most useful abilities in AFK Arena as they allow him to teleport freely on the battlefield. His ultimate skill, called Lightning Purge, lets him teleport to a crowded area where he can unleash a set of 7 powerful lightning bolts on his enemies.

Eluard

Eluard is yet another mage who can assist his teammates in combat. By using his ultimate skill called Sanctimony, Eluard can deploy a powerful shield that can consume a lot of damage. The shield can take almost anything that you throw at it.

Athalia

Athalia is a Ranged hero who uses two sharp blades to take down her enemies. The best part about her is that her attacks are pretty fast. Her ultimate ability, Divine Fury, lets her perform a series of quick attacks on her enemies, which deal 160% damage to all targets.

Class	Ranger

Eironn

Just like Athalia, Eironn is also a Ranged hero who uses two blades against his enemies. However, his ultimate ability grants him the luxury to combine his two blades into a single powerful blade. Every attack delivered by the combined blade does around 270% damage. 

Ferael

Ferael uses a bow against his enemies and he will remind you of Hawkeye from the Avengers series. His ultimate ability is called Nether Blaze and it lets him target multiple enemies at once by firing a powerful arrow towards them.

Lucretia

Lucertia’s ultimate ability is called Ungodly Defiance. The ability allows her to absorb two skulls, but this happens only for the first time. The second time she uses this ability, it allows her to deal around 280% AoE damage to her targets.

Lyca

Lyca is yet another hero on our AFK Arena tier list who likes to use a bow against her enemy. Her ultimate ability, Star Shot, is pretty simple as it lets her shoot an arrow towards her target. The attack does 220% damage and also pushes the enemy back in the process. 

Ezio

Ezio is the famous assassin from the popular Assassin’s Creed series. He is a master of stealth who can take his target down quietly. He can use his ultimate ability to mark his targets and then quickly execute them if the health of marked targets is below 27%.

Elijah and Lailah

Elijah and Lailah are the most powerful duo in Arknight. Their ultimate ability has two effects. First, it can increase their health by 35%. Second, when the ability is used, both of them start dancing to motivate their teammates and boost their Haste in the process. The effect lasts for around 8 seconds.

Ezizh

Just like Khazard, Ezizh can also create an explosion by using his ultimate ability called Fissure. The explosion does 180% damage to anyone caught inside it. It also puts the ground on fire for 5 seconds, something that deals extra damage to the enemies standing on it.

Rowan

Rowan is a Support hero who relies on his pet Duck to take down his targets. He can trick his enemies by throwing gold coins on the ground. If an enemy picks up the gold coins, then they will get stunned for 4 seconds. However, if a teammate picks them up, they will get 50 energy points.

Silas

Silas’s is one of the best heroes in AFK Arena when it comes to assisting teammates. His ultimate ability is called Injected Fury and it allows him to increase the Attack Rating of his weakest teammate by 50% by injecting a unique substance into them. The target ally also becomes immune for 8 seconds after the injection.

Talene

Talene has an ultimate ability called Fire Born and it allows her to transform into a powerful Phoenix. In this form, Talene is granted a strong shield and her normal attacks start dealing more damage.

Tasi

Tasi is capable of putting her targets to sleep for four seconds. This ability is useful against a large group of enemies as it allows the allied heroes to take them down quickly while they are sleep. The targeted enemies also receive 25% damage upon waking up.

Daimon

Daimon’s is a Tank hero who has an ultimate ability called Soul Feast. It allows him to target multiple enemies at once and does 260% damage to all those targeted enemies.

Titus

Titus’ Temple Guardian ultimate ability focuses on increasing his survival chances on the battlefield. It reduces the amount of damage he takes from enemy attacks by 35% and also makes him immune to control effects.

Albedo

Fans of the Overlord franchise will recognize Albedo in an instant. Her ultimate ability called Ginnungagap allows her to teleport to an area that is filled with enemies and then deal 300% AoE damage to all enemies in that particular area. This ability is useful when you’re trying to take down a chunk of enemies at once.

Alna

Alna can deal 340% damage to multiple enemies by calling down a Blizzard on them. She does this by using her ultimate ability called Winter War Cry. This ability also works as a passive as it can reduce the Haste of all heroes by 40 points. However, the biggest downside is that the Haste of her teammates will also get reduces.

Saurus

Saurus is strong and you know what’s stronger? Two Saurus. By using his ultimate ability, Sasurus can create a phased version of himself. This version will perform the same attacks as him and will take down every enemy in its path.

Izold

Izold’s ultimate ability, Toxic Transfusion focuses on improving his stats. When used, it will restore 50% of the health he lost in combat. Furthermore, it will boost his Attack Rating by 35% and will increase his Haste by 20. However, the effect will only last for 12 seconds.

Class	Warrior

Mulan

Like Edwin, Mulan manifests good damage dealing, blocking, and CC strength from the frontline. She is also way more durable and takes the single-target attack skill to a new level, simultaneously ensuring multiple enemies are affected. For instance, her Ultimate renders some devastating area effects making her a worthwhile AFK Arena character for early Crowd Control. A quick tip: Concentrate on maxing out Mulan as much as possible to experience her best.

Audrae

Audrae is a great S-Tiered Ranger everyone would want in AFK Arena. Her Cosmic Showers Ultimate skill is mindblowing, allowing the character to output awesome AoE grade area effect everyone yearns for in a fast-paced mechanism like the AFK Arena. What’s even enjoyable is how Audrae can make meteorites pour down over enemies for a brief period, pushing them into complete havoc on the battlefield.

Dreaf

Dreaf is an ideal pick for players who look forward to paving their way through AFK Arena’s endgame debuffing the strong opponents. He is good at inflicting damage over time effect coupled with an area effect and poison skills. Using his Ultimate, Dreaf will silence even the mightiest enemies from using any sort of attack while also reducing their attack accuracy, speed, and defenses. 

A-Tier Heroes

A-Tier heroes in our AFK Arena tier list fall just below S-Tier heroes and are some of the strongest ones to use in the game. They know how to handle critical situations and they won’t let you down. 

Flora

First up in the A-Tier category of our Arknights tier list is Flora. Now, she might look innocent and all but that’s not the case. In combat, she can target a group of enemies at once by using her Sea of Flowers ultimate skill and deal 200% to all targets.

Lorsan

Lorsan is a Mage who is capable of placing a tempest in the middle of nowhere. The tempest deals damage to all the enemies in its surrounding area. The best part is that it keeps on growing with the passage of time and when it has reached its max size, it explodes and deals damage to everyone caught inside its explosion. 

Morael

Morael is yet another Mage on our tier list. She has an ultimate ability called Cosmic Field that lets her summon a Star Core. This Star Core prevents her from getting affected by Control Effects, something that puts her at a great advantage.

Leofric

Leofric can taunt his enemy by deploying a Shadow Mastiff statue in front of them. The Shadow Mastiff will target the enemy with the highest Attack Rating, and if it’s destroyed before its time runs out, then the enemy will lose 18% of its Attack Rating.

Pippa

Pippa is a little child who is capable of imitating the base effects of Nemora, Arden, and Tasi by using her ultimate ability. She can choose to imitate the base effects of only one hero’s ultimate ability. If all three are present in her team, then she will choose the hero whose abilities are better than the others. 

Safiya

Safiya can send a powerful energy orb towards her targets. The amount of damage the orb does depends on how long Safiya charges it. At the bare minimum, the orb does 100% damage. However, when fully charged, the orb does a massive 540% damage. This ability is useful when you want to take down a powerful enemy quickly.  

Skriath

Skraith’s ultimate ability is called Desert Vortex and as its name suggests, it allows him to deploy a sand vortex. Skriath usually summons the vortex in the middle of the enemy group. The vortex pulls all nearby enemies towards it and does 70% damage per second. It stays for around 5 seconds, which is more than enough. 

Gwyneth

Just like Ferael, Gwyneth also uses a bow to take down her enemies. Her ultimate ability is pretty strong as it allows her to fire a powerful arrow into the sky, which then transforms into multiple arrows. These arrows then rain down on the enemies and deal 210% damage.

Joker is a crossover hero from Persona 5. His ultimate ability gives him the luxury of getting some extra help as it lets him summon Arsene. When summoned, Arsene attacks everything in its path and does 260% damage with its attacks.

Mehria’s ultimate ability, Mesmerize, helps her with putting her enemies in a tough situation. She can gather all of them in front of her and then make all of them attack each other for a total of four seconds.

Kren uses a launcher against his enemies and by using his ultimate ability, he can set the launcher down and fire two shells within a second. Each shell deals 180% AoE damage to all targets, and he can keep firing them for 10 seconds. This means that he can fire a total of 20 shells within the time period, which is enough to take down a group of enemies. 

Thoran

Thoran is the Fallen King who has one of the most powerful ultimate abilities in the game. It’s called Retaliation and it allows him to swing his weapon at his targets to deal 140% damage. The best part is that when this ability is used, Thoran becomes immune to control abilities. Furthermore, the amount of damage he takes from enemy attacks is also reduced.

Nakoruru’s ultimate ability lets her target a single enemy, but it’s extremely brutal. First, she knocks the enemy down and removes all the defensive shield effects from them. Once done, Nakoruru then stabs the target mercilessly and does 480% damage in the process.

Prince of Persia is well, a cross-over hero from the popular Prince of Persia franchise. Almost every gamer can recognize him due to his popularity. In AFK Arena, he has Sands of Time as his ultimate ability through which he can stun his targets while dealing 230% damage.

During this time, she will take 40% less damage than usual. If you fail to find a suitable ally to follow, then Rosaline will automatically start following the one with the highest Combat Rating.

Arthur carries around a sword called Excalibur, one of the strongest swords present in AFK Arena. His ultimate ability, called Smite, also revolves around this sword. When used, it will allow Arthur to deal more damage from his normal attacks.

Grezhul is a Tank hero capable of summoning a gravestone behind his targets. The gravestone will then deal 130% damage to all enemies that are within its radius. After that, the hero will summon a skeleton who will fight every enemy in its path.

Mezoth

Mezoth can use his ultimate ability to become immune to control effects. However, this will only work if his health is above 50%. Furthermore, when this ability is active, debuffs will only affect Mezoth for half time. 

Orthros

Orthros easily has one of the coolest abilities in AFK Arena. His ultimate ability, Time Suspension, lets him stops the time for three seconds. During this time period, everything becomes frozen except for Orthros. He will then proceed to attack the weakest enemy and will deal 60% damage with each attack.

Kaz’s Assassinate ability lets her rush behind her enemy’s back to attack them two times, with each hit dealing 250% damage. After this, Kaz will return to her original position. The best part is that while using this ability, Kaz cannot be attacked by an enemy. Therefore, there is no way to stop her from performing this lethal move. 

Skreg

Skreg can ride his Iron-Jaw by using his Beast of Burden ultimate ability. While riding it, the amount of damage his attacks do is increased by 30%. Furthermore, no control abilities can affect him during this time period. The only downside is that he can keep on riding the Iron-Jaw until he runs out of energy points. 

Nara

Nara’s weapon is specially designed to brutally kill her enemies. Her ultimate ability, Butchery, allows her to attack her target with her weapon to deal 110% damage. However, if the target’s health is below 40%, then the total damage is multiplied by 6 times. This means that she is capable of taking down her enemy in a single blow.

Queen is yet another hero on our AFK Arena tier list who is from Persona 5. In combat, she can deploy her bike, Johanna, by using her ultimate ability and then spin around with it to create a nuclear tornado. The tornado then pulls all nearby enemies towards itself and does 60% damage. Before disappearing, the tornado delivers a final blow to the enemies that does 200% AoE damage.

Wu Kong’s Cloud Clones ability is pretty amazing as it can help him escape critical situations. When used, Wu Kong will deploy three clones of himself and disappear into thin air. The clones will be able to use his normal attacks and will last for three seconds. Once they are gone, Wu Long will return to the battlefield. This ability is useful for times when you’re low on health and want to escape the area as quickly as possible.

Given his Graveborn faction, Edwin focuses primarily on charging from the backline while rendering decent crowd control through all primary abilities. However, the best of them stands out as the “Liege Lord” ultimate, boosting Edwin as a perfect ally buffer and enemy debuff. 

If achieving a nice mix of attack reliability and crowd control is your aim, go for this latest AFK Arena buddy Edwin without a second thought. Nevertheless, players must still be cautious of the fact that Edwin’s pretty often on the radar of enemies who have mastered focusing and also struggle with long cooldowns.

Maetria is well-reputed because of her excellent damaging and healing potential that manifests well with her good punch of crowd control. She will keep your team safe while ensuring massive disturbance reaches the opposing team. Besides healing, she can stun, shield, and debuff. The most significant source of Maetria’s this dominance remains her “Nature’s Guidance” ultimate. All in all, she is on par with the other heroes in the AFK arena.

Olgath

Olgath earns a high-rank thanks to his overall high attack output, excellent debuff skills, and decent longevity in battle. He is mainly used as a late-game AFK Arena champion, where reliable damage, damage, and defense are required more than ever, and Olgath is best in terms of both.

Though not the top-ranked support unit you’ll want to use for your team over the mighty AFK heroes of the Tier S, the Lightbearer Palmer can still be an excellent investment. He is not the most reliable in terms of survivability yet absorbs a significant amount of damage; hence worth a shot. You will also see Palmer protecting his allies and providing various buffs that stack, proving to be a decent all-around Support character.

Saveas is a strong damage dealer, therefore, a worthy alternative to any offense-oriented S-Tier hero you couldn’t get in the first place. His ultimate allows him to render significant amounts of damage in the single targeting domain instead of consuming his own health. Simultaneously Saveas’s passive ability swells his attack speed, helping him in surpassing the usual demonstration of damaging and shielding seen in AFK Arena.

All in all, Saveas is a must-have for early-game fights.

Leonardo is also reputed for outputting brief stun effects to enemies.

Via his Ultimate, Framton also has expertise in buffing his shielding capacity that can repel damage from quite a distance.

Haelus

Not yet amused by the support offered by Palmer or Mishka? No worries, as Haelus might do that now. This AFK Arena hero offers enough crowd control and healing abilities to keep the team protected and healthy. With his Ultimates, Haelus can even discard negative effects from allies and deal AoE damage to opponents in return. What’s more? Players get to enjoy a decent buff potential by Haelus’s side that will boost the team’s attack speed, proving your choice worth every penny.

This one is a strong tank of the game that puts powerful damage reduction abilities on the table for both himself and the entire team. Being a tank, Hodgkin is excellent in absorbing incomings and sending significant counterattacks in return, including the stun effect. B-Tier heroes offer decent abilities. They might not be as powerful as the above-mentioned heroes, but they are still pretty strong. 

Belinda

Belinda is a Mage who can target a large group of enemies at once. She has an ultimate ability called Divine Light through which she can deal 110% damage to all enemies in the targeted area. The best part is that she performs the attack four times, meaning that the amount of damage reaches 440% at the end.

Isabella’s Decimation ultimate ability is pretty amazing considering it lets her send out 8 arcane orbs. These orbs then target enemy heroes and deal 220% damage per orb. The orbs prioritize the enemy hero who has the lowest HP.

Oden can put his enemy at a great disadvantage by using his ultimate ability, Soul Burn. Upon using it, Oden can target the enemy with the most energy, and will then drain all of it out of them. Along with getting their energy sucked out of them, the target will also receive 160% damage.

Shemira

Shemira’s Tortured Souls ultimate ability allows her to deal damage to her enemies while healing herself. When used, a bunch of souls will start moving around Shemria and will deal damage to all nearby enemies. Furthermore, 50% of the damage done by the ability will be converted into health for Shemria at the end. The souls last for around 12 seconds.

Solise

Solise is yet another innocent-looking yet deadly hero on our AFK Arena tier list. She can target a group of enemies with her Blossom Fall ability and deal 280% damage to them. The ability will also make cherry blossom leaves fall on the ground for 20 seconds, which will give a boost to Solise’s other abilities. 

Cecilia

Cecilia has one of the most powerful single-target attacks in AFK Arena. Her Judgement Day ultimate ability lets her call down a divine blade, which lands on the head of her targeted enemy. The attack does a total of 300% damage.

Drez

Drez might seem like a weak little creature, but he can make his opponent go through hell. By using his ultimate ability called Deadly Ambush, Drez can follow the weakest enemy for 15 seconds. While this ability is active, the damage of his melee attacks is increased. Furthermore, his Crit Rate jumps to 100%, something that makes his attack even more deadly. 

Fawkes

Fawkes is a Ranged hero who has a pretty simple ultimate ability called Purification. It allows him to target multiple enemies at once and deal 130% damage to them. Furthermore, it also ends up removing buffs from all targets.

Kelthur

Kelthur’s Blades of Fury is one of the most unique abilities in the game. It lets him throw a shuriken towards his targeted enemy, with the shuriken also dealing damage to every enemy in its path. In the meantime, Kelthur disappears and then after some time, he finally appears when the shuriken is about to hit the final target. He then grabs the shuriken and attacks the targeted enemy for 180% damage. The rest of the enemies receive 65% damage with each hit.

Respen

Respen’s ultimate ability also targets a single enemy, but it lets him have fun with the target. He can use it to send his target into the air while dealing 250% damage to them. The target also gets stunned for a total of three seconds. 

Theowyn

Theowyn is another creepy-looking hero on our AFK Arena tier list who happens to be a Ranged hero. Her Spectral Divergence ultimate ability lets her send out specters of herself in different directions. The specters deal 150% damage to all enemies which they pass through. During this time, Theowyn will not receive any damage from enemy attacks. However, the downside is that she won’t be able to receive any buffs from her allies as well.

Tidus

Tidus can spin pretty fast by using his Twisted Fate ultimate ability and deal 160% damage to all nearby enemies. In the end, he stops and attacks the weakest nearby enemy. The final attack does 180% damage. 

Numisu

Numisu is a Support hero capable of healing his teammates. He can use his Voodoo ultimate ability to heal two allied heroes for 400% of his own Attack Rating. However, the best part is that while he’s healing, all enemies that are near the targeted heroes receive 260% AoE damage for as long as they are within their radius.

Peggy

Peggy has two Royal Guards who she relies heavily on on the battlefield. Her Duty Bound ultimate ability grants the guards 45 Haste points and an increased Defence Rating. The effect lasts for 12 seconds. If her Royal Guards are not present during the time of the ability, then Peggy will call another guard, who will use his shield against all enemies.

Brutus

Brutus is one of the most badass-looking heroes in AFK Arena. He is a Tank hero who uses a powerful sword against his opponents. His Whirlwind ultimate ability lets him attack his enemies twice with his mighty sword. 

Hendrik

Hendrik might have lost one of his eyes sometimes during the past, but that hasn’t stopped him from taking down powerful opponents. His Crippling Blow ultimate ability allows him to hit the ground with his shield that does 140% damage to all nearby targets. Furthermore, the attack also stuns the affected targets for one second.

Zolrath is easily one of the most unique-looking heroes in the entire game. He can summon a Time Rift thanks to his ultimate ability, which he can enter to heal himself. However, while he gains 7.5% of his max health per second, he also loses 120 energy points.

Estrilda

Estrilda can charge in a straight path by using her ultimate ability called Joust and deal 60% damage to all enemies. After the 5th attack, she will perform a final attack that will deal 150% damage.

Warek’s ultimate ability allows him to launch a powerful attack on his opponent that does 65% damage. The best part is that when this ability is being used, Warek becomes immune to control abilities.

Morrow

Morrow is known for his demon-summoning capability, which he uses to weaken and control his enemies. Other skills like Eye of Evil, Binding Terror, and Abyssal Retribution are there to render heavy damage to opponents. We recommend pairing Morrown with characters that are good in terms of support so they stand a better chance on the battlefield via his damage controls while he doesn’t have to take care of health.

Scarlet

The intelligence-based AFK Arena fighting unit takes pride in executing one of the best shows of magic in the game. She lets the entire team, and of course, herself too gain energy in every enemy downed. Simultaneously Scarlet makes use of her Ultimate to debuff and inflict damage on the opponents. Her health, however, is a factor to consider before making a final decision.

Merek

Merek is a rather subtle hero that doesn’t pack a lot of damaging or crowd-control skills for the lot. Nevertheless, you will find him a decent healer who is proficient in defending himself and the entire team. Where it falls short is providing enough damage to make his place in a team of top-ranked choices. Count on him only if your plate is already full of damage-dealing units.

This AFK Arena character has special abilities to repel enemies marching towards the ally team while also rendering little damage to them. However, keep Ulric in close range and densely covered with high-damage dealers since he offers limited damage, and his skills have small attack radii.

Thali

This character’s execution depends mainly on her frenzy state. When active, the state lets Thali deal a decent amount of damage to enemies while her allies enjoy stat-boosting effects thanks to the unit’s Pyromaniac skill. As soon as the state finishes, Thali is the most vulnerable unit around therefore being one of the most vulnerable characters in AFK Arena. 

Alaro

Alaro is a Mauler who is known for his ability to heal himself and inflict massive damage. His ultimate ability deals huge amounts of damage and heals him for every hit he lands. Nevertheless, Alaro lacks CC and can be easily focused down in battles, consequently causing him to rank this down.

Granit

Yet another Mauler of the B-Tier. Granit the Tank is proficient in summoning a shield for himself and all the team members at the right time. The character packs more than a few ways to control and weaken all bulky enemies before they charge back while also outputting occasional attacks. The damage dealt is too weak, resulting in Granit’s low rank. 

Thesku

This one pretty much performs like Granit having the ability to debuff and control opponents through various unique ways. Thesku can also render over time damage effects however, note that it mostly proves insignificant in front of bulky enemies, leaving him vulnerable on the battlefield. 

Golus

This one’s a solid AFK Arena character in terms of durability who will eliminate significant amounts of damage as long as he is at low health. Yes, you heard that right. Low HP is, in fact, Golus’ strength which can take a team to win AFK if a good overall team composition is ensured. Golus can also stun and knock back nearby enemies to support melee allies. 

Melusina

This mage is unique from the rest of the AFK Arena heroes since she is a master of AoE attacks. Melusina is great in silencing foes too, proving to be an overall useful pick only if players are ready to overlook her lack of mobility, which we don’t think is a lot to worry about when wishing for a decent mage.

Vedan

Vedan primarily functions through his life-leech skills. The skills let Vedan recover energy for himself and all allies by draining health from the enemies that are hit. Vedan also provides buffs to all allies and can make bats out of swarms via his “Dark Swarm” ability which then deals damage as NPCs.

The character weakens enemies while ensuring all her allies are fully recovered and buffed through the onboard Soul Impaler and Prisoner of Despair skills. What’s more? Fame also holds the key to disabling the strongest hero from the opposition ranks via her Ultimate Malign Judgement. Nonetheless, you can only get this at the expense of limited output damage and defenses.

Treznor

The Graveborn-rated ranger Treznor masters explosive area damage and also knows how to charge back at the enemy on the right occasion. His actions cause disarray and chaos in the opposition ranks giving the high-damage dealers of the ally team a chance to factor in as much damage as possible.

Astar

Astar is a decent damage dealer plus healer dealer who uses Firepower to do it all. Nevertheless, she is at a scarce health reserve that does fade most of her high points but they are still worth considering. For instance, Astar’s Aura of Fire ability makes allies take 40% less damage than usual.

Oku

Due to his lack of attack, Oku doesn’t stand enough chance of survival against bulky damage-dealing enemies. Nevertheless, the character is still a nice tanking unit to have on a team. Via his Ultimate ability, Oku can do some crowd-controlling while your main heroes are busy dealing direct damage. Furthermore, his abilities can also render healing effects to allies and debuff effects on the opponent’s team.  

C-Tier Heroes

C-Tier heroes in our AFK Arena tier list are some of the weakest heroes. They always end up becoming a burden on their teammates as they don’t know how to deal with situations alone. 

Satrana

Satrana is a Mage who has Firedance as her ultimate ability. This allows her to start her popular Fire Dance, during which her attacks deal 80% damage to all enemies. The final attack, however, does 200% damage. When dancing, Satrana’s enemies can not attack her or put control effects on her. 

Anoki

Anoki is a Tank hero who can summon a bunch of Iron-Jaw beasts who will destroy everything in their path. Every enemy that gets in the way of these beasts receives 50% damage after getting hit. This ability is perfect for times when your team is outnumbered. 

Raku

Raku is a Ranged hero who uses a slingshot against his enemies. While this may sound weak, the attacks made through the slingshot are powerful. Raku’s ultimate ability lets him target the weakest enemy and he then shoots them with his slingshot, dealing 330% damage. Furthermore, the attack also stuns the target for four seconds. 

Raine

Raine can place a Bounty Mark over her enemies through her Cripple ultimate ability. Whenever she eliminates a marked enemy, she receives 80 energy points per second for 10 seconds. This means that she receives around 800 energy points for eliminating her target. However, keep in mind that that Bounty Mark ends up increasing the damage of the enemy’s attack by 15%.

Gorvo

Gorvo’s ultimate ability isn’t that special, but it still lets him deal a decent amount of damage to his enemies. When used, Gorvo roars in the direction of his targets and deals 130% damage to them. Furthermore, he can also taunt some enemies through it if they are within the roar’s radius. 

Vurk

Vurk has a Crossbow in his arsenal through which he can target multiple enemies at once. His Mania ultimate ability lets him run wild for 15 seconds. During this time, he fires bolts at multiple enemies, with each hit dealing 100% damage. 

Lucius

Lucius is a Tank hero capable of taking care of his allies. By using his ultimate ability called Heaven’s Protection, Lucius can grant his teammates a divine shield that will protect them from incoming attacks. This is perfect for times when your teammates need to catch their breath before engaging the enemy again.

Torne

Torne is yet another unique and creepy-looking hero on our AFK Arena tier list. He can bring out bone spikes on the ground for eight seconds, which deal 300% damage to all enemies that walk through them. He can do this by using his Piercing Bones ultimate ability.

Baden

Baden is yet another hero who can summon someone else besides him to help him take down enemies. His Phantom Assassin’s ultimate ability lets him deploy a Phantom on the battlefield, who will attack every enemy in its sight. The best part is that the Phantom will not disappear with time and will go away after getting eliminated.

Khasos uses a pair of axes to take down his enemies. However, in combat, he can bring out more of them. For instance, his Spinning Obliteration ultimate ability lets him throw a total of five axes towards different enemies, with each dealing 220% damage.

Ukyo

Ukyo is a samurai who, just like other samurai, uses a sword in combat. By using his ultimate ability, he can perform 10 quick yet powerful attacks on multiple enemies. With each hit, Ukyo deals 70% damage. The best part is that he sends the enemies flying into the air with the final attack.

Ogi

Another Wilder tank of the tier, Ogi comes with a full lifesteal and health tank and also helps improve it for the allies. Besides durability, Ogi can manifest a spectacular show of repelling back enemies from charging continuously on the ally sides while the Ultimate ability “Resilience” shields the rest of the incomings. Damage output is very low, however. 

Zikis

Zikis offers a good combination of defense support and crowd control to the team. He also masters continuous dealing of negative effects onto all enemies thanks to all explosive abilities onboard like the Burning Sight, Languid Eye, and Corrosive Indolence.

Arkadios

Arkadios act exactly the same as Zikis besides offering the added benefit of pinpointing the most vulnerable opposing heroes and knocking them down. Having Arkadios in the team will ensure your main heroes don’t get distracted by the little evils around but that’s not so worth compromising on the offered drawbacks. 

Sezis

From burst damage to debuffs, basic attacks, and large area effects, Sezis is an amazing damage dealer and also offers more than enough crowd control. He primarily focuses on dealing stun effects with the various types of damage on board. Nevertheless, his low health pool makes him look squishy in front of the other stronger choices available. 

Ankhira

Thanks to her ability to increase the attack and critical strike ratings for herself and the allies, Ankhira can make up for a decent buffing role in your team. Anyways she keeps her primary focus on dealing status effects and debuffing her foes’ ratings. “Venomous Bite”, her Ultimate is famous for inflicting the most damage on the opponent with the highest HP. 

D-Tier Heroes 

These are the weakest heroes available in AFK Arena. There is no reason for you to choose them for a match. 

Ira

Ira is yet another hero on our AFK Arena tier list who can use a bow to take down her opponents. Her ultimate ability, Hail of Arrows, lets her send 10 arrows towards a large group of enemies, with each arrow dealing 80% damage. 

Oscar

Oscar can create a magical aura on the ground by throwing four knives on the ground. While standing inside the aura, his Haste is increased by 100 points. Furthermore, all enemies nearby the aura receive 270% AoE damage. The aura remains for 11 seconds and then disappears.

Silvina

Silvina is an Assassin who knows how to perform a kill. Her ultimate ability is called Fatal Strike and it allows her to get behind her enemy’s back within an instant. She will then deliver a powerful blow that will deal 110% damage. Keep in mind that when the ability is used, Silvina will target the enemy who has the highest level of energy.

Thane

Thane uses a powerful sword in combat and most of his attacks revolve around it as well. As for his ultimate ability, it is called Eviscerate and it lets him attack multiple targets 7 times. With each hit, Thane deals 80% damage. The best part is that this ability also prevents Thane from taking any damage from the enemy attacks.

Hogan

Hogan is a Tank hero who, just like Thane, uses a sword against his enemies. The only difference is that Hogan’s sword looks huge as compared to Thane’s. As for his ultimate ability, it allows him to perform a powerful attack on his targets through which he deals 200% damage.

Niru

Niru’s Death Call ultimate ability is pretty straightforward. In fact, it might be the most simple ultimate ability in AFK Arena. Upon using it, Niru can deal 220% damage to the weakest enemy.

Angelo

Angelo can stop his enemies from performing any attacks by using his Love and Peace ultimate ability. The targets can not perform any attack for four seconds. Furthermore, they also receive 100% damage in the process.

Arden

Arden is one of the oldest heroes in AFK Arena. He has an ultimate ability called Force of Nature that allows him to deal 150% magic damage by sending out a strong force towards his targets.

Ulmus

Ulmus’ ultimate ability, Deep Roots, allows him to stick himself to the ground. He remains like this till the end of the battle. During this time, his Attack Rating is increased by 40% and his enemies can’t put any control effects on him. When the ability is used, Ulmus also gets 40% of his max HP. 

Mirael

Mirael’s ultimate ability is called Fire Phoenix and as its name suggests, it allows her to summon a Phoenix who attacks every enemy in its path. The Phoenix is capable of dealing 250% damage with its attacks.

Antandra

Antandra can use her Fury Strike ultimate ability to send out a series of attacks towards multiple targets. Each hit deals 50% damage, with the final hit dealing a whopping 190% damage. Furthermore, the final hit also stuns the targets for 3 seconds.

Rigby

Rigby can use his ultimate ability, Barrel Bomb, to send a barrel towards a single target. The barrel deals 150% damage upon impact.

Seirus

The final hero we would like to mention on our AFK Arena tier list is Seirus. He can send out large waves of water towards his enemies, with each wave dealing 70% damage. The enemies who get caught inside the waves are also stunned for a short period of time.

Morvus defends well and primarily targets enemies that are the weakest of the horde. Meaning your team’s important units don’t have to distract themselves from attacking the big meat. So what ranks Morvus so low then? The character doesn’t have so much usage besides just that.

Walker

Walker masters in rendering single-target and multiple-target attacks via the hefty shotgun that he carries. The more the attacks rendered with that, the more damage dealt. This brings a recoil factor amid the fast-paced meta of AFK Arena hence resulting in Walker ranking so low in our tier list.

Steixius

From energy regeneration to attack rating, Steixius can help allies improve strength. Simultaneously, Steixius also inflicts great damage and debuffs enemies via his Ultimate and other abilities. Nevertheless, this character suffers from limited defenses that render his awesome support potential totally useless in front of what the vast array of stronger choices has to offer.  

Bloodsnarl

The Mauler-based Bloodsnarl renders great area damage and comes with decent self-healing potencies. Overall, he has got a lot of bounties to offer but a similar amount of drawbacks too. The character comes with very low survivability and will mostly get crowd controlled when he’s needed the most. Only players who like a high-stake, high-reward kind of game must go for Bloodsnarl. 

Eletha

This character will give players basic damaging skills that aren’t too unique to offer a place in most team compositions. Nevertheless, if you are a fan of thrust actions, you might want to check out Eletha’s Bloody Frenzy and Piercing Blow abilities.

Talene 

She has a very diverse playstyle and can benefit any team she is added to. Furthermore, her attacks are very effective and efficient and you can deal a lot of damage. She has the ability to surpass heroes that possess higher Ascension Levels. When used with a proper strategy she can help you win the Guild Hunt and Abyssal Expedition. 

Rowan 

The equipment and gear he comes with setting him apart from the rest of the AFK Arena characters in our tier list for 2023. Also, Rowan can get his iconic equipment at 30, however, it will require resource input. 

Shemira  

Guild Hunt and Abyssal Expedition in the AFK arena require some of the strongest characters from our 2023 tier list. Shemira is one of those characters. She will lose power as you progress in the game however she still manages to deal with some pretty damaging attacks and can do very well in teams.

If you manage to level her up, she will become the strongest ally and help you survive the hectic battles the game has to offer. 

Changes Due To Patch Update

The list below discusses all the latest nerfs and buffs AFK Arena has welcomed recently. Consider these before making your final decisions about playing characters to make the most of our AFK Arena Hero rankings.

• While Palmer’s most battle effects were kept the same, the developer has resolved issues that restricted him to use all his skill effects.
• In the case of Morael, the Energy Recovery received by all nearby allies from the “Celestial Blessing” skill now comes from the correct source.
• Updates have also revamped similar issues for Mulan. Players now can make use of all offered skill effects with full force. Mulan’s ability descriptions are also corrected. 
• Developers have especially addressed the issues related to Drez’s “Deadly Ambush” Ultimate skill which now functions properly during the skill “Tactical Retreat” no matter whether Drez is away from the battlefield or not.
• The latest changes make sure no verification issue comes up whenever using Theowyn. Most other battle effects were kept the same. 
• Fixed the issue concerning Titus and his “Guardian’s Shield” skill. Shield would not be removed even if the skill has taken damage equivalent to its maximum cap. 
• It is made sure the “Cataclysmic Roar” skill of Olgath doesn’t wrongly intervene with his Ultimate in extreme circumstances. 
• Granit’s death instance is revamped. The additional Sand Vortex will be activated no more nor be cast at the wrong time and with incorrect effects.
